Renia is a contemporary realist artist who lives and works in Los Angeles. For the past 25 years, she has dedicated her life to enriching her unique design in portraying Armenian Culture. Her distinctive personal style emanates joy and peace and expresses the vibrant spirit and atmosphere of this rich historic community.

She started painting at a very young age. Even as a young girl growing up in an Armenian family, she knew she wanted to find a way to express herself in her designs, to showcase her art to not only Armenians but other cultures as well.

 

Armenians have a long and rich history of resilience and community.  They  have learned how to build a new life and stay true to their roots no matter the consequences. As an Armenian artist, she hopes her art can remind you of the resilience of the Armenian people and encourage you to rise up from any obstacle regardless of your race or ethnicity.
